The idea
What is WorldLens?
WorldLens is being built to explain world events through their causes, connections and possible effects. The aim is to help you understand the reasoning behind an explanation and see what remains uncertain.
Who is it for?
Curious readers, investors and people who follow world events for their work. You do not need a finance background.
How is this different from reading a headline?
The intended experience starts with an event and follows the contributing factors and dependencies around it. You can see what supports an explanation, what else could account for it, and what might change the conclusion. Explore a prepared example.
Does WorldLens tell me what will happen?
No. A possible connection is not a guaranteed outcome. Timing, conditions and competing explanations matter. The examples show how an effect could happen and where the reasoning could fail.
Access and the waitlist
Can I use the full product now?
The full WorldLens product is in development. This public website includes prepared examples of the intended experience, rather than live analysis.
What happens when I join?
You answer three short questions and provide your email for launch updates. Joining does not create an account or guarantee access on a particular date.
When will WorldLens launch?
A launch date has not been announced. The waitlist is for updates as the product develops.
Will WorldLens be free?
Pricing has not been announced. Joining the waitlist does not require payment.
Can I remove my signup?
Yes. Visit Manage signup for the available removal options. You can also contact privacy@worldlens.io about your data.
Evidence and your information
Are the examples on this site live news?
No. They are prepared illustrations. They do not retrieve live sources or generate a fresh analysis when you interact with them.
How will sources and uncertainty be handled?
Our intended approach is to distinguish observations from inferences, show what supports a connection, and identify meaningful limitations. Read about our approach.
Why does the waitlist ask questions?
Your answers help us understand what people want from WorldLens: their interests, reasons for joining and what they find missing from news coverage. See the Privacy page for details about the information collected.

The Weekly is a planned digest of five developments and the context behind them. It is coming soon; the website currently shows the concept.
